Ready for the Third Meeting? September 2011

My Dear Friends!

After a wonderful summer, school started and the kids are almost adjusted to the new schedule and activities… Thank you for waiting patiently for our next meeting.

There were some changes lately and we have new friends interested, as well as a new tentative schedule to meet everybody’s need.

First of all, I would like to welcome Mariana Barrios and Valeria Mesples. We are very excited about your interest and we are looking forward to meet with you and hear about your professional life and experience.

Second, some of you expressed that evening meetings would work better. Let’s give it a try and let’s pick an evening where all of us, once a month, could meet for an after dinner coffee and chat about our beautiful profession.

Please pick a day: Wednesdays or Thursdays at 8:30pm for one hour at a coffee place like Peet’s Coffee or Starbucks. We will meet the 3^rd week of the month unless anybody explicitly requests for a different week of the month. Please reply all, then we all keep track of the group preference.

Dalit offered her home for the next meeting, but that was back when we were meeting during the mornings. Thanks Dalit!!!

You are very welcome to stay after the meeting if you wish to socialize, but the goal of the Friendly Architecture group is to keep our meetings within 1 hour or 1:15 max.
